This hardware component acts as a router (Gateway) between the wireless network of the 4i DOTs<\/em> and the network that connects the 4i DASH<\/em> to the 4i SERVER<\/em>. The 4i DASH<\/em> requires a stable power connection (100-240VAC) and a strategic placement to be able to communicate with the network of 4i DOTs<\/em>.<\/p>\n

There are three 4i DASH<\/em> models based on their connectivity: Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GPRS. Each model has its own way to set up its connection to the server. However, once they are connected, the parameters of operation are handled by 4i Platform\u2019s central configuration.<\/p>\n

Each 4i DASH<\/em> supports a varying number of 4i DOTs<\/em> depending on the quantity and frequency of the data the 4i Dots report. Even if there were no limitations in the system, the recommendation is to connect a maximum of 5 4i DOTs<\/em> per 4i DASH<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>4i Dash Wi-Fi and 4i Dash Ethernet<\/h3>\n

This version of 4i DASH<\/em> connects to an existing 802.3 (wi-fi) network to communicate with the 4i SERVER<\/em>, which has a mini web site where the connection parameters (SSID\/password in the case of Wi-Fi and IP address in the case of Ethernet) can be configured.<\/p>\n
