Above all, this process must be done in the time and quantities requested, with a minimum cost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, <strong>Lean Manufacturing<\/strong> can be defined as a production philosophy that brings together a set of procedures. The aim is to design a strategy to satisfy customer needs with minimum cost, competitive quality, and high flexibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consequently, <strong>Lean Manufacturing<\/strong> will allow the organization to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reduce the inventories<\/li><li>Minimize the delays<\/li><li>Decrease the workspace<\/li><li>Minimize the total costs<\/li><li>Reduce the energy consumption<\/li><li>Improve the quality<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In general terms, it contributes to making the organization more competitive, innovative, and efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who participates in Lean Manufacturing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Lean Manufacturing<\/strong> methodology must be executed by inclusive, organized, and trained work teams. As a result, it is very important to consider that <strong>Lean Manufacturing<\/strong> is a philosophy that requires organizational commitment and cultural adaptation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Experts have explained that in order to get significant results, it is important to consider these principal keys: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Lean Manufacturing is a strategic project:<\/strong> Firstly, this must be included in the organizational strategic plan and related to the competitive priorities of the company.<\/li><li><strong>The organizational structure must adapt to the Lean methodology<\/strong>: In such a way that there are more concurrent processes and less \u00abcommunication on the wall\u00bb. In this way, functional structures must migrate towards collaborative structures.<\/li><li><strong>Lean Manufacturing is everyone&#8217;s commitment<\/strong>: The implementation of the strategy will be gradual, however, it should integrate all levels of the organization.
