The key to success is to follow these three simple steps to make it happen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Use plant floor&nbsp;<strong>Information<\/strong>&nbsp;to identify your losses.<\/li><li>Review the losses and determine where to focus. Make your&nbsp;<strong>Decision<\/strong>&nbsp;based on the biggest loss or easiest win.<\/li><li>Agree on one&nbsp;<strong>Action<\/strong>&nbsp;that can be completed&nbsp;<em>during the shift<\/em>&nbsp;to reduce the loss.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does it work? Absolutely! If production is \u201cpretty good today\u201d, what does that mean? Great manufacturing is precise, so be precise with your data.<\/li><li><strong>Keep it real:<\/strong>&nbsp;Sure \u2013 every machine can be improved if it is redesigned, but can you accomplish that today? Keep the actions real and deliverable.<\/li><li><strong>Follow up:<\/strong>&nbsp;When your team agrees on an action, write it down and follow up to ensure that it\u2019s completed \u2013 and to check in on the result. Not every action will result in improvement, but that is OK.
